Learning about America’s justice system is interesting. What is Justice? When you actually learn about law you then realize that everything is based on understanding and interpretation of the law. If the prosecutor is new and doesn’t have much experience, they could allow a criminal to walk free. Alternatively an innocent person can easily be wrongfully convicted! My role as a justice advocate and spokesman for the Legal Advocacy & Education Commission helps me to demystify the justice system and help the general population understand the way personalities and biases play a major role in the judicial branch of our government. Change appears to take place from within the individual.
