Did you know that unintentional falls are the primary cause of childhood injuries among young children? Recent research has shed light on concerning trends, particularly regarding infants under 1 year old who are highly vulnerable to falls, often resulting in severe head injuries. Education initiatives in pediatric clinics, emergency departments, and community centers play a crucial role in equipping parents and caregivers with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure child safety. Key practices include using window guards, avoiding placing children on raised surfaces, and ensuring surfaces are dry and free from hazards. Additionally, the use of protective gear such as wearing grip socks can be of great help. By fostering awareness and offering actionable recommendations, we can safeguard the health and well-being of our children. #PreventiveHealth #ChildSafety #InjuryPrevention #LittleYogaSocks Check out: https://lnkd.in/dNfuWSE8?
