Everybody’s journey is different but here is what helped her over the years. It is never too early to start your career journey and leadership development.

In some of my recent discussions, there's been a great round-up of thinking that highlights the real need to question current operating models prevalent in the industry and their fitness for purpose. This resonates deeply with my own journey in 2024. Six months ago, I embarked on a journey—one that has been both challenging and rewarding. Last month, I touched a much-awaited professional milestone as I completed the EY Center for Board Matters - Board Ambassador Program. It has been transformative, as the program was filled with invaluable lessons and the opportunity to connect with some of the brightest minds in the industry. Reflecting on recent discussions, it's clear we've got a lot on our plates already. As we sharpen our skills and get ready to shape our strategic future, as upcoming board leaders and executives we explored how to redefine societal impact. Stepping up as Board Ambassadors, we are eager to motivate leaders to embrace change, balance stakeholder needs and uphold environmental and social responsibilities, all while staying profitable. To all those considering similar programs, I can affirm it is an investment in yourself that pays dividends in professional excellence and personal fulfillment.
