I have to take a second to brag about how awesome the Aloft team is. It’s just so incredible to see the level of talent and passion my coworkers have for solving tough problems in the real estate valuation space. It’s an industry where a really high degree of subject matter expertise is needed and our non-subject matter experts work so hard to soak up everything they can from our SMEs and apply those learnings to continually better and better solutions. In turn, our SMEs are so generous with their time and knowledge. One of those SMEs is Heather Sullivan. Heather oversees our learning and development initiatives at Aloft. This area is a key part of our overall strategy - new technology needs to come with the training required to ensure it’s used properly. You don’t put a pilot in a brand new plane without training them extensively on how to fly that plane. Heather is a top-tier appraiser with 25 years of experience. She’s tirelessly committed to her peers and to strengthening the future of the appraisal profession. She’s very involved in the community and a working member of the Appraisal Standards Board (ASB), appointed in 2022 by the Board of Trustees of the Appraisal Foundation. On Monday, Heather received the National Association of Appraisers' Appraiser of the Year award at the annual Appraiser’s Conference and Trade show. I can’t think of someone who would deserve this more. Thank you, Heather, for being a shining star at Aloft and for all you do for the appraisal profession!
