In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we dedicated a special day to focus on mindfulness and stress relief by organizing a yoga session for our employees. 🧘♀️🧘♂️ The event was a wonderful opportunity for our team to come together, relax, and recharge. Mental Health Awareness Week runs from 13 to 19 May 2024. This year, #Mind.org.uk is launching the #NoMindLeftBehind campaign with the theme of "Movement." The focus on movement highlights the powerful connection between physical activity and mental well-being. Whether it’s a daily walk, a yoga session, or a dance class, moving our bodies can significantly improve our mental health by reducing stress, anxiety, and depression. For me, as a professional, this week is a pivotal opportunity to acknowledge and address the importance of mental health in the workplace. By embracing the #NoMindLeftBehind campaign, we can foster a more supportive and understanding environment for everyone. At our #workplace, we've started a new practice to support this initiative. Every three hours, a bell rings, prompting everyone to stand up and engage in two minutes of stretching exercises. This quick activity refreshes our minds and bodies, boosting morale and productivity. Let's take this week to prioritise our mental health, support each other, and integrate movement into our daily routines. Together, we can ensure no mind is left behind. #MentalHealthAwareness

These are especially important in the tech sector thanks to the usually long hours spent sitting behind desks or hunched over screens.
