Some names in #systemsengineering are associated with some BIG milestones in the field. Well, Dinesh Verma has put his name in not just one, but two of them (for now): Creating the paradigm of modern graduate programs in systems engineering at the School of Systems and Enterprises at Stevens Institute of Technology and creating the largest, most impactful research enterprise in systems engineering, the Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC). A giant on the shoulders of giants...

An excellent symposium that I had the opportunity to attend. In my opinion, there is a big misconception about contracting and law: that they should be what they have always been with all their complexities. I have learned that contracting can definitely be proactive and innovative, touching cross-disciplinary fields ranging from mindset to technology, and concerning both academia and practice. Proactive contracting is "the" way to establish smooth yet professional and effective relationships. An event rich in sharing, thank you Sally Guyer for the organization, thanks to all the speakers and all the participants who shared their valuable knowledge with us. Thank you Hannele Korhonen for sharing about the event. More to come hopefully 🌟 #legaldesign
This week we saw an immersive two days of hard-hitting debates and real-life case studies at our Academic Symposium with participants coming together from over 50 countries! 🌍🌎🌏 Our phenomenal marathon of panels uncovered a lot of very interesting areas for further intervention and research while the enthusiasm we seen is gives us the energy to continuing tackling the challenges we face. Thank you to all who participated, our academic partners, and of course our steering committee. With over 600 registrations, the passion amongst our community of practitioners and academics was clear to see! 🙌
