Day 6: A Question I’ve Been Asking Myself Lately (And Why) I spend a lot of my time thinking about the future of AI and use of AI agentic workflows. But lately, one question I've been asking myself is this: How will AI agents fundamentally transform our work processes and decision-making? For a few reasons: Reason #1: AI agents are advancing rapidly. This suggests a big shift in how we delegate and manage tasks. Reason #2: AI agents can perform complex tasks on their own. They can check their work and fix it without human intervention. This power could greatly change how we solve problems and get things done. Reason #3: Adding AI agents to our work might mean that we need to update existing systems and change how we do things. To wrestle with this question, a few things I am doing are comparing AI agent frameworks, building agents from scratch, and looking at how different industries could use AI agents today. But I think it'll be a while before I come to any sort of solid conclusion. (And if you have a clear answer to this question, I'd love to hear from you.)
