Thank you to PIEL UK for an insightful event yesterday. I recall beginning my TC over two and a half years ago with very little awareness of environmental considerations within corporate environments. Now more cases are coming to the forefront of the public eye helping to raise issues of accountability. It is clear there is still a far way to go, but it will be interesting to see whether any political parties will incorporate, or give attention to, further legislative change in relation to environmental accountability and due diligence ahead of the next election. #EnvironmentalLaw #DueDiligence #ESG #EnvironmentalRights
