Grateful to be part of such an impactful industry! NAESCO - National Association of Energy Service Companies highlights a Lawrence Berkeley National Lab report, revealing that ESCOs have collectively saved a remarkable 560 million tons of CO2 since 1990. Additionally, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) reports demonstrate that individual ESPC projects in the MUSH market, typically valued at $3 million since 2012, yield notable energy savings of 13% to 31%. The cornerstone of ESPC, the performance guarantee, offers project owners peace of mind by using Maintenance and Utility Cost Savings to fund improvements. This model shifts project risks to ESCOs, ensuring guaranteed savings and providing reimbursements or free fixes if targets aren't achieved. #EnergyEfficiency #EarthDay #MakingAnImpact

Why would we at Fillmore Container want to keep glass in the re-purposing, up-cycling and re-cycling loop? It's not just because true sustainability requires the consideration of raw materials needed for glass production and how clean cullet can reduce the amount of sand required (and the carbon impact involved in that industry alone). It's also because we share this planet and want to do our part! We view glass as a resource that deserves more of the spotlight when it comes to recycling streams. In most cases, if glass is going into single stream recycling, it is lost. What is your community doing to keep glass in the loop? #chooseglass #closetheloop #everydayisearthday

We have the world's exclusive power-saving technology. Each electricity customer can save more than 20~30% of electricity every month. We use harmonic reduction power-saving technology. Different from filters, the performance is better than filters, which can reduce costs. More. Solar power generation and storage tank equipment can also use our energy-saving products to obtain better quality and cleaner electricity. In addition, they can also be used in computers in AI big data centers and electric vehicle charging piles to ensure the service life, safety and power saving of charging equipment. It is worth mentioning that when energy-saving products are installed in the use area, there is an additional benefit in terms of health. It can reduce the electromagnetic waves generated by most electrical appliances and equipment that use electricity in the installation area. It can reduce the power of electromagnetic waves and reduce the impact on the human body. This is a great technology. Companies can also continue to meet ESG operational needs (environmental protection, social responsibility, corporate governance), which is a wise choice. For humanity! For the world! For the earth!

Happy #EarthDay, earthlings! NASA studies our home planet and its interconnected systems more than any other planet in our universe. For six decades, we've been collecting data on Earth’s land, water, air, and climate. This data is used to inform decision makers on ways to mitigate, adapt, and respond to climate change. 🌎 Download this year's Earth Day poster here: https://lnkd.in/e5KkD5U5

If we're going to go anywhere, we should be thinking about going to Ceres. Yes, it's a little further out (it's in the middle of the Mars/Jupiter asteroid belt), but Ceres is MUCH better positioned as a destination: * Ceres is an ice dwarf planet, providing much needed water on the surface. The amount of water on Ceres is likely comparable to that on Earth. * Ceres is about 1/4 the size of the moon, meaning that its gravity well is quite small. Moreover, it doesn't sit in the gravity well of giants like Jupiter or Saturn. This makes it ideal for shipping raw materials back to Earth (it may even be cheaper, once the initial investment is made) to ship materials from Ceres to the Moon, to high geo-orbital stations, or even Mars than it would be to send it from Earth, because it's basically all downhill gravity-wise. * Ceres is ideally suited for mining the asteroid belt, including ice, metals, and other compounds. * Ceres doesn't have the radiation problems that Mars has, nor does it have a large planet's magnetic field to contend with. * Ceres is still coalescing, and has a brine-like volcanism that regular deposits key minerals on the surface. * Ceres is also likely to be much better colonized by robots. You can establish robotic facilities for a small fraction of the cost of trying to build a human colony on any other planet. I'm not sure that we are at a stage where we NEED to mine Ceres, but I find the idea of going to Mars to be silly in the extreme. Let's take care of our problems on this planet before we think about spreading out to build colonies in the rest of the solar system.
Mars vs Earth; it’s next to impossible for mankind to make Mars livable, why dream going there when we have everything here. 😁
