A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) lets you donate cash, stocks, or other assets to a public charity and get an immediate tax break. The money then grows tax-free in the DAF, and you have the flexibility to recommend which charities receive grants from the fund whenever you choose. Tips to help have extra cash to donate to charities:  use that points card to accumulate points when you purchase necessities redeem points and donate the amount you would have spent to a charity, over $20 you will get a tax receipt and get a bit back when you file taxes, you will end up getting paid to donate!!!
