So great to see Malcolm Scrymgeour from Zumo Retail Ltd speaking at The Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s APP 2024. We go wayyyy back to the early introduction to #communitypharmacy of Walk the Store principles when the industry was moving into a new retail challenge. Today, Mal was speaking about how the industry continuously overcomes challenges, including now 60 Day Dispensing. Put simply 60DD will reduce customer visits if we do nothing. The challenge is to overcome this. Maybe one way is to step up our #services and help more patients to be more well with each visit. That means more focusing on, and commitment to, your #purpose (for yourself & your team - why are you even in community pharmacy?), more talking to customers at a deeper level, more knowledgeable teams, and, more professional services.
