Hypomar Ocean 1 Takes to the Seas! 🚢 Alginor`s very first commercial harvester, Hypomar Ocean 1, delivered from Fitjar Mekaniske Verksted AS arrived on May 2, 2024. This marks a significant milestone in our history and development! First sea trials has been conducted and in the coming weeks there will more testing of equipment and on-board processes, providing live training for our personnel, and making necessary calibrations and adjustments to the vessel’s operating systems. With Hypomar Ocean 1, we are well-positioned to accelerate development across our portfolio by ensuring regular supplies of large raw material volumes to our pilot facility. This is crucial for our ongoing projects and enhances our ability to offer samples at scale to our customers. A prime example is the recently awarded PROTEUS project, about which we will share more information soon. This achievement would not have been possible without our trusted partners, who have exceeded our expectations.
