Jon Batiste wears custom dunhill to this year’s Met Gala in New York City.   Designed by Creative Director, Simon Holloway, the Grammy Award-winning American musician wore a custom midnight blue wool barathea single breasted evening jacket with a peak lapel, darted front evening trousers, a white cotton twill point collar concealed placket dress shirt, a white cotton twill large butterfly bow-tie and black smooth calf leather evening loafers.   In honour of this year’s dress code ‘A Garden in Time’, a bespoke halterneck waistcoat was made in an 18th century floral Spitalfields silk jacquard, created by the English textile designer, Anna Maria Garthwaite. Designed in 1745, this intriguing piece of fashion history was delicately cut and tailored in dunhill’s London atelier.   To complete the look, Jon wears jewellery and watch by Cartier.
