Over the past 3 years, we worked with 30 clients and their employees to make therapy accessible, and comforting. Here are our observations: 1- Lack of feeling of safety: Employees didn't feel safe enough to take the first step towards booking a session. 2- Awareness: The idea of curative mental health is still riddled within ignorance and most users didn't know how it works or helps 3- Lack of role models: Our culture doesn't promote help seeking behaviour. Our solutions: 1- A model of awareness before impact: Working through the medium of content and workshops to bring Mental Health concepts into conversations. 2- A fun way to introduce therapy: Aimed at making mental health a dinner table conversation, metaphors and anecdotes make it a fun experience to get in touch with your emotions. 3- Leading by example: Working closely with organisations to build empathetic workplaces that promote taking care and help seeking behaviour. We at Mindpeers work to make this happen, our clients have seen a considerable increase in help seeking behaviour, we have helped over 30 clients, and we are here for you too. 🌟 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 🌟 On #teamskyeye we believe that mental health is just as important as physical safety. As we navigate the skies, we also prioritize navigating mental well-being with the same level of care and attention. This month, and every month, we are committed to supporting our team through resources, open conversations, and an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Safety isn't just about avoiding hazards; it's about creating a workplace where everyone can speak openly about mental health without stigma. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and Lydig is proud to take part in a national effort to prioritize the well-being of employees. We believe in fostering a culture of compassion and support, both within our construction projects and beyond. Whether it's recognizing the signs that we need a break or extending a helping hand to our colleagues, we aim to actively cultivate an environment where everyone feels empowered to prioritize their mental health. Reaching out to resources like Employee Assistance Programs or mental health professionals is a proactive step towards self-care. We will continue to check in on each other, listen without judgment, and offer support whenever it is needed. It is Lydig’s goal to build a community where everyone feels supported on their journey towards mental health. #MentalHealthAwareness #EndTheStigma #BreakTheSilence #YouAreNotAlone #SpeakUp #MentalHealthMatters #StopTheStigma #SelfCare #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #LydigConstruction
