Meet Tim - an ALDI Store Manager in our Faribault, MN division 👋 His story with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation Stand started in 2021 when one of his granddaughters had hosting a lemonade stand on her Summer Bucket List… The first year, they held the stand in memory of a family friend who had lost their child to cancer. One week later, they were crossing off the next item on her list: go to the beach. While there they noticed a lump, which led to several tests concluding with Olivia being diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma. She's completed over a year of chemotherapy and radiation treatments, all while hosting two more Alex's Lemonade Stands at ALDI. Today, Olivia is doing fantastic! She has scans every few months and continues hosting Alex's Lemonade Stands every year. Each time, the stand has more meaning to them, and their hope is that they bring more awareness to pediatric cancer.
