ALDI Tech Hub celebrates Children's Day with a family picnic 🎉   At the beginning of June, our ALDI Tech Hub team gathered for a summer picnic in Rząska, near Krakow. It was a joyful Friday evening filled with laughter and fun, as our employees, their partners, and children came together to enjoy the festivities. We played exciting games of badminton and football, 🏸⚽ and savored a delicious BBQ feast. 🍖   To celebrate Children's Day, we created a special corner just for the kids, featuring drawing kits, temporary tattoos, colorful braids, and a variety of games. 🎨🎈 The little ones weren't the only ones having fun, though! We organized games and competitions for everyone, ensuring smiles all around. 😄   This picnic was the perfect opportunity to unwind, bond with colleagues, and spend quality time with loved ones. It was a day full of joy and unforgettable moments. 🌟 A big thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success. Joined #ALDIpower on the rugby training field! 🏉   Last week, we swapped out our laptops for rugby balls and joined the women of the team “Bestie Krakow” for an after-work rugby training session! 🚀💼    Many of us were rugby rookies, but we had amazing coaches. We started with a joint warm-up, followed by some fun games and exercises with rugby balls. Then came the full-contact drills! 🌍 ALDI Tech Hub celebrates #EarthDay 2024 🌱   At the Technology Hub in Krakow, we're not just coding for a better future, we're cleaning for it too! 🧹 Last Friday, our team rolled up their sleeves and hit the Vistula River banks armed with trash bags and determination! 💪It was a voluntary effort, and seeing our team come together to make a difference warmed our hearts. Because this event not just strengthen our POWER as a team, but we also acted in a good cause. 💙   As Bill Nye famously said: "To leave the world better than you found it, sometimes you have to pick up other people’s trash." We're hopping on the bike for Krakow's "Cycle to Work" campaign organized by the City Hall of Krakow! 🚴♂️ It's all about ditching the car and embracing a healthier, greener commute – and we're all in! 🌳 From March to November, we're pedaling alongside other organizations, aiming for that top spot on the leaderboard and winning the prize. And here's the kicker – our office is totally bike-friendly! 🏢 It's a heaven for cyclists! With a dedicated bike room, locker facilities, showers, and even a drying room, we make bike commuting very comfortable! 🚿 That's not all – our biking adventures extend beyond the office too! JOBICON: Our voices are gone, but our excitement isn't!   Last week, the ALDI Tech Hub participated in a huge festival in Krakow - the JOBICON. The day proved to be a very successful event for us! We talked with so many talented individuals (we didn’t have a chance to talk with everyone, but there were over 4,700 attendees!) that our voices were hoarse by the end 🤐 – but that just means we were making some great connections and had a blast promoting the only true discount and it's career chances in the tech sector! 🎉   Our fantastic team, including Karolina, Agnieszka, Ola, Artur, Radek, Stachu were on fire 🔥 gathering CVs, chatting with people, representing us and rocking the booth.
