Alamo Drafthouse should buy the creepy abandoned Regency Valley Plaza theater in Los Angeles, it would be such a cool and evocative place to have an art hub. Or, alternatively, the Warner Pacific Theater. :)
Gotta admit, I was really worried when I had read about the DFW locations shutting down. So relieved to hear that they'll be reopening, along with Woodbury!

🍌🎉 Big shoutout to the Savannah Bananas for proving that going bananas over your brand can indeed peel away the conventional layers of marketing and expose the fruit of success! 🎉
Who would have thought that a baseball team named after a fruit could teach us all a masterclass in brand growth? The Savannah Bananas have shown us that the secret sauce (or should we say, the secret smoothie?) to game-changing success is a simple, yet often overlooked recipe: love your customers and put your people first.
In a world where businesses often swing for the fences, the Savannah Bananas have hit a grand slam by focusing on creating a fan experience that’s as appealing as their name. It’s not just about the baseball; it’s about the entertainment, the engagement, and the sheer joy they bring to their community and fans.
They’ve turned their games into a first class cirque type circus of fun, proving that when you love your customers more than your product, you turn spectators into die-hard fans.
So, here’s to the Savannah Bananas 🥂, for reminding us that in the serious game of business, a little humor, a lot of love, and putting your people first can make you the top banana in your field. May your bunch continue to grow, and may we all take a page from your playbook and inject a little more fun and love into what we do. CONGRATS Jesse Cole - keep crushing it!

The Savannah Bananas just Sold Out Fenway Park.
As a kid I had the dream of playing for the Red Sox at Fenway but could have never imagined our small town team from Savannah could accomplish something like this.
From selling only a handful of tickets in our first few months to now selling out one of the most iconic venues in sports is beyond special.
I'm so proud of our organization for making this happen.
I will never stop dreaming big, but it's all of my amazing teammates and Banana Nation who made this happen.
This is just the start and we are still in the first inning. But June 8th will be a day I will never forget.
I look forward to the next level of this merger where a Nationwide Membership comes into reality There is a large traveling community that take advantage of this option.
On Premise I disagree with the goal of this 'Opinion Piece' however I agree that Operations at many of the parks need some improvement.
The $'s earned from a Nationwide Membership is NOT or should not be the primary revenue source.
These parks have a lot of challenges... Expensive operations, costly maintenance, food that is extraordinarily expensive. Where do they start ??, increase prices, or lower costs. They will have to work on both, together to bring proper balance of value back to to their primary target audience (the Teens and Young Adults) .
This merger will be the greatest thing ever or the death of the entire industry. Proceed cautiously Six Flags, you are entering new territory and we are watching.
Be better than Disney and Be better than Universal. But follow the model of Sea World .. they have successfully made Entertainment Fun and affordable every time we go.

The one thing that fans seem to want most from the Six Flags/Cedar Fair merger is the one thing that the new Six Flags Entertainment Corporation absolutely should not deliver. #attractions#pricing#themeparks
imperfect location for usual metric of population within half-hour drive time (more so given 2nd worse attendance in baseball,)
fast becoming destination with museums and art scene, does food, beverage, entertainment experience draw the fans?
(from the TV) - like the Marlins, of the worst attendance in game, both have big TV audiences (and Latino)
the downtown is quite appealing in new development... parks line the bayfront and new major-league pier with same mix
and the luxury condo towers minus Naples/Sarasota pricing....
🏈 The Super Bowl is this weekend already!? 😯 🏈
Whether you are a San Francisco 49ers fan or a Kansas City Chiefs fan, there will be many fans with a reason to celebrate, especially in #LasVegas. 🎉
With several casinos, entertainment venues, massive hotels, and restaurants only a few miles from the Super Bowl stadium, there won’t be a lack of places to go! 🏈 🥂
At virtually every gaming facility in Las Vegas, Won-Doors take the place of conventional swinging doors that limit design flexibility and can be cumbersome for large numbers of guests moving between spaces. At Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel & Casino (pictured), the Won-Doors serve as a fire-assembly separator, between the casino and the shopping center.
They are commonly used in sports facilities for football, baseball, basketball and hockey, where large numbers of fans must pass through openings and corridors that must be sealed off in an emergency while still providing emergency egress.
