This technology allows the tank to remain closed closer to the design vacuum than conventional 100% overpressure valves. This reduces condensation build up that leads to internal corrosion and product contamination. The vacuum relief capacity is also what most often defines valve size due to storage tank inherent weakness to under pressure. The 10% technology will enable operators to use a smaller valve than the 100% equivalent. So, the same performance can be achieved from a smaller, lower cost valve without compromising on quality and leak tightness.
