I'm thrilled to share that i've just released a captivating video featuring a full virtual flight from Baku to Nakhcivan aboard our state-of-the-art Airbus A320 Neo. But that's not all – we've included a mesmerizing Cold and Dark startup sequence, giving you a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes magic of aviation.
What's a Cold and Dark startup, you ask? It's more than just technical jargon;
"Cold and dark startup" refers to the initial phase of preparing an aircraft for flight when it is powered down and all systems are inactive. In this state, the aircraft's cockpit is dark, and the engines are not running, hence the term "cold." During the startup process, the pilot or flight crew activates the aircraft's systems, powers up the engines, and prepares the aircraft for taxiing and takeoff. It's a crucial procedure that ensures the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft before each flight.
Experience the thrill of taking flight from the comfort of your own home as our skilled virtual pilots awaken the A320 Neo, lighting up its cockpit and preparing it for an unforgettable journey. From the vibrant Baku to the serene landscapes of Nakhcivan, let your imagination soar as we traverse the skies, connecting communities and creating cherished memories along the way.
Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind adventure! 🛫✨ #AzerbaijanAirlines#VirtualFlightExperience#A320Neo#AdventureInTheSkies

I have been excited for months since I first heard of Volocopter potentially flying for the Paris Olympics. But, if I tell you the truth, I do empathize with the wave of dissent it has been generating.
eVTOLS appear to the public as the quintessential new toy for rich people. While they will be greener, as our enthusiastic editorialist Chris Stonor from eVTOL Insights points out, they just greenify the small minority, while the whole industry receives a wave of investment and material resources that would be much more efficient elsewhere, if the final goal is to reduce emissions and rationalize impact on the environment. As things stand, this greenification is a drop of pure water in a see of mud. A somewhat wasted effort to entertain the big capital.
I am a technologist, and therefore, I can barely hold my enthusiasm for the eVTOL industry's achievements. But I can also appreciate that in a world with such rampant inequality, eVTOLS seem like the least public-approval-prone solution. What do you think?
My take on this is that, either the industry starts to draw a path towards a democratization of this exciting technology, or new barriers will hinder the development of such tech.
How about a lottery to win an eVTOL trip to all Paris citizens and Olympics attendants? 🥂

✈️ Soaring to New Heights with Jetman: Mission Human Flight! 🌐💡 Witnessed a groundbreaking achievement at Dubai as Jetman Vince Reffet took off, achieving 100% autonomous human flight. 🚀 Flying directly upwards from the ground, this milestone marks a paradigm shift in human flight technology.
🔧 Powered by a carbon fiber wing with four mini jet engines, Jetman showcased speeds of 400km/h, controlled by the human body, performing loops, turns, and even hovering. The fusion of innovation and creativity, as part of the "Jetman: Mission Human Flight," has brought forth a new era in human flight, redefining the limits of what's possible.
🌈 A Three-Minute Marvel: From hovering above the Arabian Gulf to climbing 1,800m in the air, Reffet showcased unmatched control, even performing a roll and loop before deploying his parachute for a breathtaking descent.
🔗 Engineers' Ingenuity: A testament to human ingenuity, engineers from India, Switzerland, and France developed groundbreaking technology, enabling human control of the wing throughout the flight.
🚀 Future Ventures: As we celebrate this triumph, the journey continues. The next frontier involves landing without a parachute after a high-altitude flight, a testament to the relentless pursuit of pushing boundaries.
💬 Vince Reffet shared, “It’s the result of extremely thorough teamwork, where each small step generated huge results. It is another step in a long-term project.”
