I would love to travel in Air India, but the kind of feedback I am getting on social media is disheartening- feedback about broken seats, cleanliness, entertainment is horrifying. I would love to support AirIndia though
Toronto's vibrant culture, diverse cuisine, and stunning skyline make it a traveler's paradise. From the iconic CN Tower to the bustling Distillery District, this city offers an unforgettable blend of modern charm and historic allure.
Would love to patronise AI, but first please fix the broken seats, tables, screens, charging ports and dirty cabins. Any air travel, especially long distance travel needs to be comfortable for the passengers.

Starting in March 2024, Britain’s Virgin Atlantic Airway will add a third Indian city to its destinations in the subcontinent. The daily flights connecting Bengaluru to London’s Heathrow are expected to harness the massive corporate traffic on the route. In the run-up to this strategic expansion in India, the airline’s Country Manager – South Asia Alex McEwan took a few questions on his company’s plans for India as well as that for its global spread.

Air India - Its good to see the new logo, 'The Vista', the colourful livery and the overall rebranding of our flag carrier airline, and these changes are expected to be visible to flyers from end of 2023 or early 2024.

Will a rebranding change the brand perception is the question?
A lot more to be done to make this transformation reach the customers:
Neat, clean, fresh aircrafts with friendly staff and most importantly a good flying network with on time performance.
It is important for an airline to offer good connectivity and time slots to the passengers. It's been ages that I have travelled in Air India, merely because of the non availability of a sector I wish to fly or find a needy schedule for me from what they offer. I think this major weakness started from the time, where those slots of the Govt backed Air India were sold to Kingfisher Airlines or later to Spicejet almost more than a decade ago. As of now, most of us are dependant on Indigo for its network and offering, as none other flies to most of these domestic destinations.
You just take the current flying network of Air India from https://lnkd.in/gerMpe63 and may not find a flight or connectivity to your desired destination. I hope the new Air India works on these aggressively and gets back to the customers minds and thus fly as our most favourite airline.
I agree that Airlines are more interested in carrying international routes where the profitability is higher, but there the real competition is with those airlines who always crown as the most customer friendly ones. I wish the new Air India will focus on this transition along with the new brand identity and the new fleet.
With a whopping 320 million plus passengers in Aviation Sector in India, I think there is a huge scope for airlines to do better and grow these numbers and the networks so that India and its tourism also grows really well, if they offer connectivity at affordable cost. Lets hope aviation ministry and the policy makers also work on this.
I wish the new Air India to deliver its promise and commitment and bring in its rich heritage with global standards of excellence with a vigor and vision with the new Vista. All the best..!!

Wings India 2024 event has an AAI kiosk where people can come and experience the ATC feed. One can see what the ATC screen displays and can listen from the console which is meant for communicating with the aircrafts.
As smooth as it seems, there are far too many technologies involved in the background
In the video there are two things involved:
1. Situation Data Display: it is a monitor, a part of automation system, which displays the live positioning of various aircrafts. There are servers in the background which collect live feed (raw data) from radars and collates it with the software trajectory formed in the basis of flight plan submitted by the pilot. It helps the ATC to make informed decisions about level, separation to ensure safe air travel.
2. VCCS HMI console: this is a part of voice control communication switching system which helps the atc to communicate with pilot with the help of vhf radios and also establish ground to ground communication.
These are just a few of many things involved in ensuring safe and seamless air travel.
So the next time you travel, you can truly appreciate the humongous effort it takes to make your journey safe and seamless.
Enthralled by the captivating experience at the #WingsIndia2024 event, a visitor is enjoying the live air traffic control kiosk featured at AAI's Pavilion. Here, they immerse themselves in the dynamic world of live air traffic control, delving into the intricacies of the process and gaining a comprehensive understanding of aviation operations.
