#Roadto100, released this year, is the official #manifesto of our #sustainability #commitment. Its development involved more that 100 internal and external stakeholders, who focused on the key #Environmental, #Social and #Governace challanges that our industry is called to address, and pinpointed a detailed plan of strategic initiatives to turn them into valuable opportunities. Our sustainability pledge – encompassing the 5 different engagement areas of #Solutions, #Operations, #PeopleandCommunities, #Customers and #Governance – resulted from this collective effort. Intertwined with our business, it naturally translates into real action: as Ariston Group’s 100th anniversary approaches, our teams worldwide have already kicked-off multiple projects and the whole organization is working to achieve the ambitiuos yet concrete targets that we set for ourselves. #roadto100 #100anniversary #rootedinsustainability #rootedinvalues #roadmapto2030 #sustainablefuture #attheheartoftheenergytransition #responsiblebusiness

Act 4 SDGs, 20 Sep 23: Our team Bram Hof, Pim Schipper, PharmD PhD, and I, along with two other groups, recently participated in a collective ideation challenge during the Drecht Cities Young Professionals Program. Our task was to find solutions to reduce CO2 emissions in the aviation sector. In just five days, we came up with an out of the box solution - Autonomous Inflatable Re-adjustable Seating (AIR Seating 4 U 2 Share) - that aims to reduce up to 40% fuel and CO2 emissions while improving customization, comfort, and promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion. We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to discuss our idea with the CTO of Airbus Netherlands B.V. and his colleagues, as well as other like-minded professionals, thanks to Willem Aalders & Paul Robert VAN DER HEIJDEN. We were inspired, motivated, and learned a lot from the critical feedback and questions we received during the challenge. Our team is proud of what we accomplished during the Young Professionals Program, and we believe that our solution can make a significant impact in reducing CO2 emissions in the aviation sector. As our action 4 SDGs, in this case, we did what must be done! The rest is now in your hands. Would you like to know more? We could discuss it while drinking a glass of wine at Venture Café Rotterdam (SDG House Rotterdam) during the Thursday Gathering. #act4sdgs #sdgs2030 #sdg18 #circulareconomy #circulardesign #innovation #sustainability #aviation #environmentalimpact
