Her current work concerns reducing memory interference experienced in neural networks via a biologically representative AI - Leabra! The advice she has for students looking to start their foray into #STEM related fields is: "Pick an area you’re interested in and just start learning everything you can about the topic. Read papers, talk to professionals, and seek out any opportunities to expand your knowledge. How technology and humans work is underrated. Ai has been around for sometime. Prior to time, programmers were commanding the computers but now Ai has made it easier for even a layman to use computers to get answers. Now, instead of teaching humans how to talk to computers, computers are being taught how to talk to humans. Relevance of Ai Ai helps to predict based on the data it's provided with. The use of Ai helps to make your business more efficient thereby leading to profits. Ai can also be exploited and used against you for malicious purposes. So, the humanity problem of people taking advantage of Ai needs to be addressed. There's also the scare of Ai being able to replace a number of jobs in the labor market, to keep up, it's important to stay informed with what's new in your field/profession and to adapt to technological landscapes.
