Air Force Research Laboratory’s Post

Deshna Naruka is a dual computer science and engineering major at the University of Florida who's lending her expertise as an intern on our Autonomous Capabilities Team, or ACT3! Her current work involves researching how AI models learn so they can apply key takeaways to better understand our own mind. This exciting work stemmed from her time with AFRL's Wright Scholars Research Assistance Program and their pointing her towards the ACT3 group. When asked what advice she has for students interested in working with AI systems: "I would advise peers or fellow students to reach out directly to mentors for ways to get involved with Al research, and find ways to network with others. Those connections can be the biggest driving factor for future opportunities." #AFResearchLab | #AFRLInterns | #STEMInterns | #AI | #ArtifiicalIntelligence | #Internships
