Not sure how Air Canada managed to win so many awards, especially after seeing the ill-treatment by it of its student-passenger. A 22-year old 6ft3inches student, booked on Air Canada MUM-DELHI-TORONTO with the MUM-DELHI leg through its code share partner, Vistara, is stranded at Delhi thanks to a Vistara delay. And the Toronto connecting bound flight took off without providing for the student. From 10.30 p.m. till 3 a.m. , the student has been forced (coerced) to accept an Economy class ticket to Toronto the next day, without regard to his discomfort, without compensation for the extra fare he had paid for premium, dumped into a hotel with a chauffer who does not know the way...and mental trauma is unaccounted for in all this. Air Canada representative, Ayush has stopped taking calls. Pathetic service and experience Air Canada!

Signature Suites are a wonderful customer experience. Is catering and service still supplied by Compass Group? I was manager of the YYZ International Lounge for 4 years and saw the Signature Suite open. Working towards SkyTrax Awards was always a pleasure for us and a reflection on the dedication of the staff members providing 5 Star Service when the awards were announced.
