The #solidarity of the #Egyptian #people? You must mean by building #walls so the #Gazaian #Arabs, the #Palestinians, can't seek #refuge in Egypt from where a large percentage of their #ancestors came in the early #1900s when the #land was #empty as recorded by #MarkTwain and so many others. Or the solidarity of the Egyptians who are causing that line of #trucks not moving into #Gaza in the #area #controlled by Egypt? Or the solidarity of all the other Arab #countries, including the #national #origins of 99% of the Gazaian Arabs such as #Iraq, #Lebanon, #Libya #Syria, #SaudiArabia, and the #Palestinian counttry of #Jordan that will not accept Palestinians as well? Stop the #false #narrative. The #suffering is caused by the Gazaian #support for #Hamas and its #evil #ideology of #hate and #antisemitism, not #Israel, not the #Jews and not the lie of an #independent country that never existed, #Palestine, as Gaza was free since 2005 and the people choose #terrorism instead of #nation #building, and caused by the lack of #immigration to their #ancestral #homelands, the Arab countries.
Every year, I undertake a solidarity mission during the holy month of Ramadan to shine a light on Muslim communities in distress. This year, I have come to the Rafah crossing to spotlight the hardship and pain of Palestinians in Gaza – and the obstacles to easing their plight. This morning, I met with injured Palestinian civilians at the General Hospital in Al Arish, Egypt. I was extremely moved by their stories, experiences and the hardships they have endured, and by the generosity and solidarity of the Egyptian people. From the Rafah crossing, I see the heartbreak and heartlessness of it all. A long line of blocked relief trucks on one side of the gates. The long shadow of starvation on the other. That is more than tragic. It is a moral outrage. I say again: nothing justifies the horrific attacks by Hamas on October 7th. And nothing justifies the collective punishment of the Palestinian people. Now more than ever, it is time for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire. It is time for an ironclad commitment by Israel for total, unfettered access for humanitarian goods throughout Gaza. In the Ramadan spirit of compassion, it’s time for the immediate release of all hostages.

Palestinian men are redefining strength, resilience, and care for the whole world. Unfortunately, in all statements about the casualties of the Israeli aggression, the focus remains on “70% women and children”, implicitly meaning that the 30% that are men matter less. This narrative assumes that the men are all suspected of being militants. Even the doctors, the ambulance workers, the teachers, the humanitarians, the fathers, brothers, and uncles trying to keep their families safe. Based on the latest numbers by Euromed Human Rights Monitor, out of 35,000 casualties (including people under the rubble presumed dead) about 14,000 are men and only about 4,500 are non-civilians. That means for every 1 militant, 2 civilian men, 3 children, and 2 women are killed. Meaning a MAJORITY of the men killed in this conflict are civilians. So, yes, 70% of casualties are women and children, but also, 70% of the men murdered by the IOF are civilians. Palestinian men should not have to be heroes. They should not have to be symbols of resilience and strength. They should not have to prove their humanity. They should not have to earn the right to live. And yet, they do this. Every day. Taking care of everyone around them. Doing their absolute best to keep people safe. #freepalestine #freegaza #ceasefirenow

A member of the Palestine Red Crescent tries to calm down a terrified little girl whilst leaving Al Amal hospital after two weeks of siege. Palestinian, Muslim and Arab men have been dehumanised for far too long. That it has allowed the world to see our fathers, our brothers, our cousins, our husbands as nothing more than evil and less than human. They don’t show you this. This is why Mehreen Ali 🍉 and I started Project Humanise

Here is as clear an exposition of what's going on in Gaza as you are going to find. Israel is not at war with the Palestinian people. Israel is at war with Hamas. The Palestinian people are not victims of Israel. They are victims of Hamas. The Palestinian people want the siege of Gaza to end. Israel wants the siege of Gaza to end. Hamas wants the siege of Gaza to continue. Israel mourns civilian casualties and the needless loss of life. Hamas celebrates civilian casualties and the needless loss of life. Israeli citizens are displaced and traumatized. Gazan citizens are displaced and traumatized. Hamas leaders are living in luxury in Qatar, where they order their people to be physically blocked from fleeing the war zone. Israel makes every effort to warn Gazan civilians of impending attacks. Hamas stations its headquarters under hospitals and fires missiles from mosques and schools. Israel wants to live peacefully in its own land. Those who proclaim Free Palestine want Palestinians to live in Israel's land, free from Jews. Where do they want the Jews to go? Away. After all, we've been everywhere else. Watch the video. After watching it, anyone who still thinks that Israel is the problem needs to look for the problem somewhere else. Starting in the mirror. https://lnkd.in/gq8MFT9q #ethics #israel #hamas #gaza #standwithisrael

🕊️ A Call for Peace and Solidarity 🕊️ On this solemn day, instead of celebrating Sudan's 68th anniversary of independence from inside the Parliament (19th December 1955), our hearts are heavy with grief. The conflicts in Sudan🇸🇩 and Gaza 🇵🇸 have left innocent lives shattered, especially those of children and infants who should never bear the weight of war. 💔 My deepest condolences go out to my country Sudan and Palestinian brothers and sisters enduring the profound impact of these devastating events. Today is a day of reflection and solidarity as we navigate through one of the saddest moments in our contemporary history. As a global community, we must unite against the brutality of war, condemning the bombings and senseless acts of violence. The call to action is clear: we must exert political and economic pressure on international platforms, including the United States and the United Nations, to intervene and put an end to the suffering. This is not just a Sudanese or Palestinian issue; it's a call against the inhumanity of war anywhere in the world. Let us stand together, advocate for peace, and work towards a world where such sorrowful days become relics of the past. 🌍💙 #PeaceForSudan #SudanIndependent #PeaceForGaza #StandWithPalestine #Solidarity #EndWar #HumanityPrevails
