It was a wonderful evening at ACAA's centre in Feltham Thursday, the 25th of July, to celebrate the Honorary Doctorate of Dr. Nooralhaq Nasimi MBE, which he received from Royal Holloway, University of London last week. Speakers included a former Intern who is now a barrister, an Ealing Councillor, University of Buckingham Professor Susan Edwards, Royal Holloway University Professor Jill Marshall, who is one of the professors that nominated Dr. Nasimi, and more. There was then a traditional music performance and an Afghan dinner. Thank you to everyone who attended.

ACAA ESOL classes finished for the summer holiday this week, with a party for all our students and teachers taking place yesterday at our centre in Feltham. Students brought food from their different countries to share and were given certificates for their efforts over the last year. ACAA Founder and Director Dr. Nooralhaq Nasimi MBE also spoke about the importance of learning English, considering the accomplishments of the organisation, including his recent Honorary Doctorate from Royal Holloway University. We hope everyone has a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing them again in September.
