Electrostatic Filters Vs MESP Do not confuse between Electrostatic filters and MESP filters ES Filters are simply fibrous material that carry a charge to attract dust but MESP filters are upto 20,000 volts DC and hence attracts the dust to the opposite collector plate.

How a Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump Works Liquid ring vacuum pumps are widely used in numerous industries, ranging from chemical processing to power generation, due to their efficiency and reliability. These pumps utilize a unique working principle that sets them apart from other vacuum pump types. Let's dive into the intricacies of how a liquid ring vacuum pump operates: 1. Liquid Seal: The pump's main chamber, called the casing, is partially filled with a working fluid, typically water, oil, or a mixture of both. This liquid acts as a sealant and forms a rotating ring once the pump is in operation. 2. Impeller: The heart of the liquid ring vacuum pump is the impeller, which is eccentrically positioned within the casing. The impeller is a circular rotor equipped with blades or vanes that extend radially from its core. As the impeller rotates, the liquid inside the casing is thrown towards the casing walls due to centrifugal force. 3. Compression: As the rotating liquid creates a ring shape inside the casing, it forms a continuous liquid ring. The impeller's blades create chambers between the vanes as they pass in front of the inlet port. These chambers are then filled with gas that enters the pump through the inlet. 4. Gas Contraction: When gas enters the pump, it gets trapped in these chambers between the vanes. As the impeller rotates, the volume of the chambers decreases, causing the gas to be compressed. This compression increases the gas pressure, allowing it to be expelled from the pump via the discharge port. 5. Liquid Renewal: To ensure continuous operation, the liquid seal must be continuously replenished. A portion of the working fluid is discharged from the pump along with the gas, and a constant flow of fresh liquid is introduced into the casing. This liquid not only acts as a sealant but also assists in cooling the pump, as it absorbs the heat generated by the compression process. Liquid ring vacuum pumps are known for their ability to handle wet or saturated gas streams, making them suitable for applications where there is a presence of liquids or water vapor. They are also highly reliable, as there are no metal-to-metal contact and minimal wear due to the liquid cushioning effect. Understanding the working principle of a liquid ring vacuum pump is essential for professionals in the engineering, manufacturing, and process industries. By harnessing the capabilities of these pumps, companies can achieve efficient and effective vacuum systems for a wide range of applications. 💧🌀🔧 #LiquidRingVacuumPump #Engineering #Manufacturing #linkedinpost

In a refinery overhead system in vacuum distillation, the liquid ring vacuum pump is used to create a vacuum in the system. The working principle of a liquid ring vacuum pump involves using a liquid (usually water) as the sealing and cooling medium. Here is how the liquid ring vacuum pump works in a refinery overhead system: 1. The pump operates by rotating a vaned impeller eccentrically inside a cylindrical casing partially filled with liquid. As the impeller rotates, it creates a rotating liquid ring inside the casing. 2. The liquid ring forms a seal between the impeller vanes and the casing, creating a series of chambers of varying volumes. 3. When the impeller rotates, the volume of the chambers increases, causing the pressure inside the chambers to decrease. 4. This decrease in pressure creates a vacuum, which allows the pump to draw in gases or vapors from the overhead system in the vacuum distillation process. 5. The gases or vapors are then compressed and discharged from the pump, while the liquid ring acts as a seal to prevent any leakage of gas back into the system. Overall, the liquid ring vacuum pump in a refinery overhead system helps to maintain the desired pressure and remove unwanted gases or vapors from the system during the vacuum distillation process. #mrkumar #refinery #oilandgas #petrochemical. #LRVP #CDU #VDU # vishnu kumar (Arabicفيشنو كومار) #thankyou more details click on. https://lnkd.in/gSa-nQr

Equilibar provides precise back pressure valves (BPVs) that are used in many different industries for controlling liquids, gases, and mixtures of fluids. The unique design of Equilibar's BPVs ensures high accuracy and quick response, helping to keep your processes stable. You can operate these valves either manually or electronically, depending on what you need. Why to choose Equilibar back pressure valve? 1. It uses a special diaphragm that automatically balances pressure, so does not require complex feedback systems. 2. The diaphragm adjusts instantly to pressure changes, ensuring accurate control. It responds very quickly, within 10 milliseconds, to any pressure or flow changes. 3. The valve has multiple openings that adjust to control high or low flow rates effectively. 4. It can handle a wide range of pressures, maintaining accuracy even at very low pressures. The terms back pressure valve and back pressure regulator are often used interchangeably, but Equilibar uses "valve" for sizes 1.5 inches and larger.
