🚀 When skilled people want to be even more skilled, it's our role to nurture their enthusiasm and enable learning.
🤝 When we say: "we offer a wide range of opportunities to develop your competence", we mean it.
🔥One example of this is providing access to IWE/IWT training, which is a significant investment to employee's development. The training is also internationally recognized and qualifies to act as a welding coordinator according to SFS-EN ISO 3834 and SFS-EN 1090.
Jere, an automation engineer, and Joonas, a welding engineer, are currently on an IWE course at LUT University. We asked for their thoughts on the training so far.
❓Why IWE training?
Jere: "IWE training supports my current role and my future career development."
Joonas: "I definitely wanted to participate in this training when the opportunity came up. The training itself is a good and valuable thing that increases and deepens my understanding of the broad welding industry. In addition, having completed the course, graduating as an IWE gives credibility in the eyes of customers."
❓Which topic is particularly interesting on this course?
Jere: "The second study module delves into materials metallurgy and welding metallurgy, and these are probably the areas that interest me the most on this course."
Joonas: "So far, we have gone through the first part of the course, which was about welding processes and equipment. This section was the most familiar to me. Nevertheless, I learned something completely new and gained a deeper understanding of the topic. The remaining three modules deal with less familiar subjects, of which welding metallurgy in particular, interests me and is certainly useful for my work."
