✈️📊🎯 Paper presentation: Data-Driven and Personalised Training as a Service Infrastructure.   In today's digital era, advancements in technology like AI, data science, and simulation have revolutionised training strategies, especially for 5th generation air force pilots. Traditional standardised training doesn't account for individual differences in learning curves and needs. That's why the concept of Training as a Service (TaaS) has emerged, offering personalised, data-driven training that optimises pilot performance efficiently. This innovative approach uses various elements like adaptive scenarios, data analysis and dashboards to provide each pilot with the tailored training they need, ensuring peak operational readiness. Due to overwhelming response, I wanted to clarify a bunch of common questions and make an announcement about the Department of Defense SBIR Tech Expo: 1. The big addition/change up front: We're going to be hosting a #SBIR 101 #OTA 101 sessions during one of the days of the event, which reduces our total presentation capacity from 400 to 320 [GET YOUR REGISTRATIONS IN EARLY!]. These 101 sessions will be open to ALL industry and government. Gov folks you do not need to submit a different registration, the current one will work. Industry folks- if you're interested in attending, complete the link at the form below! 2. General eligibility: It's called the "DoD SBIR Tech Expo" but it is open to completed/in-progress data- and ai-related SBIR projects, STTR projects, and projects completed by Non-Traditional Contractor OTAs. The industry form reflects this but we've received feedback that the wording is a bit confusing. 3. Multi-awardees: You can submit a presentation for up to THREE different projects. Each one of the presentations will be given their own 30 minute time slot across the days of the event, not necessarily on the same day and session. 4. Awardable/Not funded or Phase 1 verification: For projects that were A/NF, put the information of the customer and TPOCs that you were planning to work with on your submission. For completed Phase 1s without a customer, use [email protected] as your TPOC and forward the latest notification you received about the acceptance of your project/milestones directly to this email address. Registrations are open for the European Union Defence Innovation Scheme (EUDIS) Hackathons 2024, an initiative launched by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space. Digitalisation is already transforming the bunker market. The inevitable shift from traditional paperwork to data-enabled technologies is long overdue. As a critical part of the marine supply chain, it is important we resolve the challenge of fragmented data flows and seize the opportunity ahead of us - and I am pleased to participate in an event such as this one where we will debate and grapple with the sector's future.

🌐 Glad to attend today at Outlook on Resilience International Conference organized by Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre. 🔘 Emerging and disruptive technologies (EDTs) are now constantly on the agenda of all great powers racing for getting (or keeping) a high(er) position in the current over-competitive international environment. 
🔘 The European Defence Agency (EDA) identifies six particularly disruptive technologies: - quantum-based technologies - artificial intelligence (AI) - robotics and autonomous weapons systems - big data analytics - hypersonic weapons systems and space technologies - new advanced materials 🔘 NATO focuses, in this respect, on: - AI - autonomy - quantum - biotechnologies and human enhancement - hypersonic systems - space - novel materials and manufacturing - energy and propulsion - next-generation communication networks The Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) and the EUR 1 billion NATO innovation fund are the relevant tools in the implementation of NATO 2030 Agenda. The 2023 AI Index Report published by Stanford University reveals that, starting March 2017 (when Canada was the first country to announce a national AI strategy), more than 60 national AI strategies have been published. National and multinational investments in AI are booming. With all this focus, AI’s depth and influence are still a mystery for many, with nuances that sometimes elude even the most astute observers. 🔘 In the early stages, AI emerged as a disruptive technological force, initially seen as a research endeavor and a bold domain, without standardization or clear legal frameworks, allowing for a frontier-like exploration. Over time, its development shifted from isolated efforts to more collaborative and patterned advancements. What began as pure innovation eventually evolved into an integral part of various sectors, spanning from military applications to everyday life. 
🔘 AI’s integration in some sectors of daily life is so seamless that it was nearly unnoticed.
