I'm Hiring! My business has grown considerably in the past couple of years but I do a lot (maybe 'most') things still myself. To some extent this is how I like it. However, there are many areas where my personal capacity is limiting the growth of my business e.g. staying on top of implementing different ideas I've had, follow up, managing my team, etc. There's too much in my head, and there's too much to do, and I can't 'hold' it all (in my brain) or fit it all in my calendar. Plus I have ADHD and 2 young kiddos The closest commonly used term for this role would probably be Executive Assistant. The implementation in this role is minimal (it's not like OBM or COO). Your primary job is to manage/supervise/assist me in all the things I've got to do/think about/juggle/make decisions on/etc. Your secondary job is to liaise and communicate with people as needed who want something from me. I'm not really fussed what you currently call yourself (VA, OBM, etc), just that you have experience, enthusiasm and space for the role. Important: I'm looking to hire someone in the UK. " Cutting out a Middle Man " Once upon a time, a busy CEO wanted to hire a virtual assistant (VA) to help with his company's workload. He decided to use an agency called Remote ***** find one. At first, things seemed okay, but soon, problems arose. The VA was slow to respond, made mistakes, and didn't seem to understand the company's needs. The CEO realized that working through an agency was making things harder. Eventually, he decided to hire a VA directly. This time, things went much better. The new VA understood the company's goals, communicated well, and got the job done efficiently. The CEO learned that hiring directly was simpler and more effective than using an agency. From then on, he knew to skip the middleman and hire directly for better results an important lesson: while hiring a VA through an agency may seem convenient, the disadvantages often outweigh the benefits. Direct communication and alignment with company culture are crucial for a successful working relationship, and sometimes, cutting out the middleman is the best way to achieve that. Six Eastern is hiring its first full-time Operations Manager. Perfect role for future a Chief of Staff or someone that wants to learn the ins and outs of running a company. This role is the backbone of our high-growth agency! No pressure. It's a little bit of... - finance & bookkeeping (ex. create system for tracking & managing) - HR & payroll (ex. create onboarding processes) - recruiting (ex. coordinating interview panels) - client onboarding (ex. handling contracts) - executive assistant (ex. vetting and scheduling new business calls) - agency marketing support (ex. newsletter compilation) - personal assistant (non-work related stuff that frees me up to do more work) - light PR support (very specific tasks for certain accounts) It sounds like a lot, but right now this is being done in 15-20 hours a week. We want it to be a full time job. Bring strategy to the role and come with big ideas. Shake up our processes and find new efficiencies. Anyone at SE will tell you that efficiency is my passion (I know, lame passion), but this means your work will be held in high regard. Figure out how we can better collaborate, cut down on busy work, and capitalize on each other's successes. A lot of agencies get worse as they grow. I want us to be an exception and to actually get better. So far, it's working. This person can help ensure it stays that way!
