“The exact moment of aphelion (most distant point from the Sun:) occurs at 1:00 Universal Time (UT) on December 9th, (5:00 PM PST on Friday night on the 8th). At that point, Halley’s Comet will be 35.14 AU (almost 3.3 billion miles or 5.3 billion kilometers) from the Sun. This puts the comet out beyond the orbit of Neptune, shining at 35th magnitude in the southern constellation of Hydra the Sea Serpent. The comet will also be moving at its slowest velocity, at 0.91 kilometers per second or 2,000 miles per hour respective to the Sun.”https://lnkd.in/gYdMtkah

Percival Lowell observed and drew the oases Trivium Charontis, Primus Lacus, Propontis, and Secundus Lacus, as well as the canals Eumenides (as a shading; doubtful), Eurotas, Hades, Tartarus, Titan, Cebren (as a polar boundary), Cerberus, Chronium, Erebus, Eumenides, Evenus (faint), Gorgon, Medus III, Orcus, Steropes (in position of Gigas), Hephaestus II, and Laestrygon. Mars in Taurus forms a square aspect to Pluto in Aquarius on 11th June 2024. Mars increases our energy levels and makes us feel we want to move forward and take action, but its warlike energy may lead to angry arguments and confrontations. In Taurus, this energy is diffused somewhat, because this fixed earth sign prefers stability, peace and love. Pluto is the planet of death, rebirth, power, control, transformation and healing. This energy tends to destroy before rebuilding. Pluto in Aquarius, ruled by Uranus, means the energy is all about rebellion and creating a new world where everyone benefits. This challenging square aspect may bring conflict, but it also brings an enormous amount of energy, strength and power we can use to pursue our own personal goals, and also transform the world around us.

6 Planets Aligning on June 3! 🌌 In the morning of June 3, you have the chance to witness a large planetary alignment. Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune will all line up in the sky for a brief period before sunrise. 🌞✨ But here’s the catch: spotting all six planets won’t be easy! 🔭 Neptune and Uranus will require binoculars. Jupiter and Mercury will be bright enough for the naked eye but positioned low on the horizon, where the Sun’s glare can make them tough to see. 🌟 Mars and Saturn are your best bets! They’ll be higher in the sky, with Mars showing off its reddish hue and Saturn displaying its yellowish glow. But don’t be discouraged! Whether you spot just one or two planets or the whole celestial parade, it’s still a great experience. The Spring Equinox, also known as Vernal Equinox and March Equinox, happens every year usually on March 20 (some years it can take place on March 19 or 21), and it is the day that marks the beginning of Spring. This Equinox is used to measure the length of a tropical year, or how long the Earth takes to do one orbit around the Sun. The average length is 365 days, 5 hours and 48 minutes.
