I was asked today what I thought about PR trends in #2024. Here’s a paraphrase of how I responded: “The #PR profession continues to shift considering advances in #AI, #socialmedia, and the #polarized communication common to our day. In 2024, I predict that PR professionals will communicate more frequently via mediated short form #video than by traditional PR tools such as #events and #pressreleases. I also anticipate an increased need for strategy-driven professionals that can demonstrate #analytics-driven communication #outcomes.” We are in a new era. One must be able to prove superiority to AI/bots…or that one can manage the AI in such a way that will provide measurable outcomes/impact to the organization’s financial well-being. #Numbers matter. And along the way, make sure to master #video #storytelling, and take a refresher in #premier. That’s what I #think, how about you?
