What a beautiful and challenging project has it been - I can't believe how quickly time flew by. It seems like it was just yesterday - there was nothing but an excavation hole at the corner of Bathurst and Eglinton. Today, we already welcomed our first home owners, who will be calling The Forest Hill Condominiums their homes. This journey brings a lot of happy memories, lots of learning, and most importantly - humbling lessons to carry with me throughout my career: 1) There is a reason we have two ears but only one mouth - the majority of learning happens by observing. There is so much to learn when you just listen. 2) Surround yourself with people who support and challenge you - that is how you grow 3) Recognize people's strength and weaknesses and utilize them for the benefit of the common goal 4) Never be afraid of asking questions 5) Lastly, be fluid and adaptive - only because something worked for you before doesn't mean it will work in the future. Cheers to TFH, CentreCourt family and all people who made this project possible.

2nd Grade Elementary Educator at SEAMAN USD#345 - Science of Reading - LETRS trained. Orton Gillingham. Tier 1 Instruction is BAE (Before Anything Else)!!
Prioritizing Tier 1 instruction and the science of reading is essential for student success. This approach reduces behavioral issues and enhances academic achievement, leading to fewer students needing intervention. By mastering state standards and refining Tier 1 practices, we create a strong foundation for all learners. This results in a positive learning environment where every student can thrive and achieve equitable educational outcomes at higher levels. Students will be college & career ready.. BUT we MUST fix tier 1 FIRST.
