it's good to study the competition or even future vendors. Per Bank 👋 You may be asking yourself. This looks OK. it's not, especially when you're going to start offering party supplies you need to double down on a selection that can cater to many themes and events or else you're telling customers please don't come back and shop with us. that's why we become experts in our field, party supplies can seem simple, however, picking products that translate well in the market and are high quality is what we specialize in, and yes, it's a full-time job 😏 Moreover, this is another reason why we created one up… To be the solution to an ever-evolving landscape in party supplies as an all-in-one provider! P.S. (They only had the number 7) With that said, seems like a perfect partnership in the making. #birthday #balloons #partysupplies

Selling secondhand goods is a tricky business. Finding over-inflated values online may create unrealistic expectations on the part of the consignor. Lotting strategies that ignore the realities of shipping constraints may limit the pool of potential bidders to folks willing to pick up locally. True discernment of lot potential requires an appraising eye willing to resist the pull of personal preference in favor of an approach that considers actual performance versus aspirational pricing in the current online marketplace. And then there are the occasionally flukes that buck current trends, with results considerably higher than expected. This is the crazy world of the contemporary auction house, selling material goods of varying age, origin and design to a vast audience reflecting a similar complexity in its needs and tastes. #ecommerce #onlineauction

Just wrapped up a trip to source a couple of vendors in Tonala, Jalisco. As pictured, the town is bustling and the downtown area is lined with miles and miles of stores (and turns into a flea market if you go on a Sunday). A lot of these places sell the same thing or a variation of the same thing, so as you shop, you wait to buy because you check other pricing and quality first. In a market where you have no differentiators, you must compete based on price. This trip reminded me how much I value convenience and it’s something that I feel our industry often overlooks. People are willing to pay for service that includes everything they need to support their lifestyle. For me on this trip, it boiled down to picking the merchant that was willing to pack the product properly and could handle volume shipping… these things had nothing to do with the product itself and I did not go with the cheapest option. Think about how this applies to our industry. Some may value a self-install option so that they don’t have to take off of work, others value not having to deal with the install. Some may want an added outdoor mesh included to support their outdoor lifestyle, while others may want you to help set up internet controls and Bark to protect their family. Don’t shy away from offering inclusive services! No one wants an a-la-carte experience.

The Simplifier | Homepage messaging that clicks with your audience - For B2B Tech and SaaS companies
Prevent your clients from “fitting a fridge in the cart” 👇 You lose all your ability to negotiate with your clients if you don’t have a clear price structure. Imagine you are the owner of a supermarket with a unique offer for clients: they pay just 80$ for everything that fits in the cart. Certainly, there will be someone attempting to fit a fridge in the cart and he will say - “It’s in the cart, it may be sticking out, but it’s in the cart”. The same applies to your clients. Offer them attractive deals, but prevent them from “fitting a fridge in the cart” 🙂 That’s why you need a specific price structure. #thesimplifier #sales #pricestructure

"☔️🌍🔄 Breaking the mold here, folks. Sourcing umbrellas from China isn't just about finding a supplier. It's about creating a weather-defying masterpiece. 🎨 First, don’t buy from the first supplier you find. Explore. Dig deeper. Look for the hidden gems in the vast sea of manufacturers. Next, quality control is your best friend. 🧐 Double, triple check everything. A small stitch can make a big difference. Negotiate, but don't haggle. ⚖️ Remember, you're not just buying umbrellas. You're buying hard work, time, and craftsmanship. Last, build relationships. Not just business but real human connections. 🤝 So, next time when it's pouring, remember that every umbrella has a story. A story of careful selection, diligent inspection, respectful negotiation, and a relationship built on trust. Happy sourcing! ☔️🌍🔄"
