》 GREATER VICTORIA HARBOUR AUTHORITY: listening and engaging with the Indigenous community.Greater Victoria Harbour Authority

We had an amazing time at the Indigenous Business Mixer on June 25, 2024. Co-hosted by the IPC and the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce, this event celebrated the one-year anniversary of the South Island Indigenous Business Directory: https://lnkd.in/g5pZ9-mm, which has grown from 50 to 100 listings. Held at the beautiful Songhees & Esquimalt Nation's Salish Seaside RV Haven: https://lnkd.in/gK5S6QBt, the event featured delicious catering by Songhees Events & Catering:https://lnkd.in/g-rs8wR, and stunning photography by Yuwii Media: https://lnkd.in/gmk4xfrH Buying goods and services from Indigenous businesses is a meaningful and direct way to contribute to economic reconciliation. The mixer provided a wonderful opportunity to build community among Indigenous entrepreneurs and learn more about how the IPC and the Chamber support Indigenous businesses on the South Island.
