Open for Opportunity in 3D Design and Simulation: SolidWorks & CATIA V5 Expert | Problem Solver | Competition Driven | Passionate Design Engineer | Unbiased | Adaptive Strategist | Seeking Exciting Career Challenges 😁
Vertical Drilling Machine🚀 Working Principle: It's all about shearing! The rotating drill bit applies force to the workpiece, shearing off material to create holes. Precision is controlled by the feed rate, ensuring accuracy in every hole drilled. Applications: From crafting essential parts in manufacturing to drilling infrastructure holes in construction, and even handling repairs and maintenance, this versatile machine does it all. Advantages: Versatility reigns supreme, as it effortlessly handles metal, plastic, and wood. Expect precision, ease of operation, and reliability. Considerations: While it's a versatile workhorse, it can be hefty and costly, requiring careful operation. #Manufacturing #Construction #internshipdiaries #internship #Machining #VerticalDrillingMachine

Student at Union High School Welder from pipe fence to bigger projects like feed lots and horse and cattle pens
10 things I learned interning at A&C 1. I learned to respect other peoples thing and belongings and to treat them as your own and take good care of them. 2. Learned how to give and receive respect from other people. That helps in all aspects of life to treat one another as you want to be treated. 3. Learned how to get the flow of the job and keep that flow going. I learned how to work with a slope and make things square, level, and straight. 4. Learned how to weld overhead a lot better than I originally did. They taught me how to keep my puddle going and how it changes throughout the pipe. 5. Learned all the angles on different things. Different angles change the way your puddle flows and how well it welds. 6. Learned that prep is a very important thing. If you have your metal prepped and ready to go it will go so much smoother throughout your prodject. 7. Learned on caps and thinner metal needs different things. Temp is a really big part of welding and with time you begin to get the hang of what temp you need to run. Rod is another big part. Different rods do different things and can be ran at different angles. 8. Learned how to cut rails and joints of pipe way better from interning there. All the angles and how fast you cut will decide on how clean your cuts are going to be. 9. I learned how to hang and build gates at A&C. Gates require certain things, to be square and built solid and lightweight. The latches depend on who your doing them for they may want horseshoe latch’s or something different. 10. Rhett and Cody have taught me a lot about welding. They’ve taught me so much about all of that line of work. They are 2 really talented and smart people. Very grateful to be able to have that opportunity.

Preparing the next generation of miners for the next generation of mining!
This past week concluded my summer internship with Luck Stone. Huge thank-you to Bryan Smith, Justin Spates, and everyone else who made this summer a developmental experience! As the Built For The Mine Intern, I was given the opportunity to work within various parts of Luck Stone's Engineering and Operational Support group. Everything from data analysis to hands-on training with a CAT 988H Pit Loader; Luck Stone has done a fantastic job of investing in me. Passing the Part 107 Drone Exam, I also now have my official Commercial Drone License and was given the opportunity to shadow Stephen Veschi during various drone flight tasks. Moving forward, I will be supporting Luck Stone part-time while pursuing a Master of Engineering in Mining Engineering at Virginia Tech with a focus in Data Analytics.

It is amazing all of the things I have learned over the course of this internship. I have learned the importance of measuring twice and cutting once, I learned how to shoot grade for the structure of buildings and how important that is with how thick the concrete needs to be. I have also been taught the importance of laying sewer lines and the slope for the best drainage. #Everbuilt #CTEInternship
