In the past few year, the business landscape in Iraq, particularly in the FMCG sector, has undergone significant changes. One major issue I've observed is the prevalence of low-quality packaging, or more specifically, inappropriate packaging. When we talk about packaging, it’s not just about the appearance but also about its critical role in preserving the quality and value of the product. A primary reason for this packaging issue is that most of it is outsourced. Correct me if I’m wrong, but shouldn't packaging for local products be managed locally to ensure it meets quality standards? By doing so, we can maintain better control over the packaging process, ensuring it effectively protects the product and enhances its value in the eyes of consumers. That's why I believe that the focus on packaging should be on par with the focus on product development. Numerous factors come into play here, such as branding and alignment with the company's mission. Integrating high-quality packaging not only protects the product but also reinforces the brand's image and ensures that the product's presentation aligns with the values and goals of the company.
