Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas. c. Partner with GE IT and Finance functions to define business requirements and translate into technical requirements d. Aid or participate in developing application design as per functional requirements. e. Design and deliver functional architecture strategy with leading practices through all phases of ARCS implementation. f. Hands-on formulation of business and functional requirements to set the direction for corresponding and complimentary solution aligned to business goals. g. Provide business and functional expertise by collaborating and engaging with both functional and IT teams. h. Participate in design workshop to confirm requirements and user stories. i. Configure attributes for various profiles such as Segment, Process, Risk Rating, Frequency, Account Type and Aging profiles. j. Configure Account Reconciliations Formats and Profiles. k. Configure the profiles in ARCS utilizing following methods: Balance compare, Tracking Only, Account Analysis, Transaction Matching. l. Configure auto match types/rules in Transaction Matching module m. Configure workflow setup/approval process in addition to required user security configurations n. Create EPM Automate Batch scripts to automate and make the account reconciliations process touchless. o. The art of a support request. Having worked as an ediscovery PM and system administrator for multiple systems, I have received numerous tech support requests. I think that until you are on the receiving end, you don’t fully appreciate how the content of your request can have such an impact on response times. Look at the differences between the two examples below: Option 1: “[system name] is not working.” Option 2: “I am having an issue with [system name]. This first occurred on [date]. I have/have not previously accessed this system without this issue. I am/am not the only person experiencing the issue. Other people experience the issue are [name users]. I experienced the issue when I took the follow actions [explain steps]. I am using a [PC/Mac] and I am using [browser name] and I also tried this on [browser name] and had the same issue. I have attached a screenshot of the issue.” We are in the process of implementing a new module on our CLM and have run into a couple of issues. However, since we submitted detailed support tickets, we received fast responses that went immediately to the issue without having numerous back and forth communications to provide the information needed for the support team to investigate. And yes, I have received emails that just said "[system name] is not working."
