I've dedicated nearly my entire professional career to the field of crime analysis. Along the way, I've met and interacted with some incredible people and leaders in the field. People like Sean Bair, Mary Craige, Christopher Bruce, Jason R Elder, Mary Bertuccelli, Jamie Roush, Matthew Harris, the other Matthew W., Mike Winslow, Matthew Lambert, James Glass, MS, Susan Whitford, Annie Mitchell, Josh Levin, John Beck, Glenn Fueston, Matt Smith, Albert Mesa, Carolyn Cassidy, Jim Mallard, Samantha Gwinn, Dr. Sally Rawlings PsyD, Celestina “Tina” Williams, Greg Jones, Glen Mills, etc. (sorry, I know I'm forgetting so many people) were very influential in my career either as colleagues, advisors, partners, friends, or customers. Upon coming to Multitude Insights, I saw an opportunity to connect with many of these folks again to help build out a robust analytical solution for law enforcement. Two weeks ago we had a internal roadmap meeting and we were not in agreement about some key features of BLTN between our Engineers, UI/UX, Sales, and Leadership. I asked if we could table the discussion as I had an idea. I reached out to my network of crime analysts in the Phoenix valley and within an hour I had a focus group scheduled with some knowledgable analysts to gather their feedback. As you can see from the photo, we had a little fun too! We plan to do many more of these focus groups with analysts, investigators, and command staff in the future. When you have a solution that is disrupting an antiquated business process (emailed bulletins), you have an opportunity to sit back and listen to the people who are suffering and brainstorm. These analysts who came together are not even customers yet, but they fully understand that law enforcement needs a nationwide system for sharing bulletins. They know it will solve more crime and solve it faster. They know it will save them time and make them more effective. They know that using AI to link BLTNs is an industry-changing technology. 🚀 Excited to share that I've successfully completed Bloomberg's Client Service Virtual Experience Program on Forage! 🎉 🔍 Throughout this program, I tackled four dynamic tasks that immersed me in the world of client service at Bloomberg. Here's a glimpse into the journey: 📊 Task 1: Prioritization and Task Management I dived into the world of Eisenhower Matrix, stepping into the shoes of a Bloomberg Customer Support team member. Navigating through diverse customer inquiries simultaneously taught me the art of juggling tasks, offering solutions, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across communication channels. 🌐 🔍 Task 2: Problem Solving & Analytics With the root cause method, I crafted professional responses to customer tickets, presenting tailored solutions with step-by-step guidance and even a dash of sales finesse. This task sharpened my analytical prowess and honed my ability to think on my feet. 💡 🤝 Task 3: Conflict Resolution I embraced complaint-handling methodologies, lending my voice to customer query responses. This exercise strengthened my empathy and communication skills, paving the way for effective conflict resolution and customer satisfaction. 🗣️ 🧠 Task 4: Resourcefulness and Resilience In a scenario where a customer was missing daily newsletters, I recorded a video showcasing my resourcefulness and resilience. I navigated through challenges, utilized multiple resources, and maintained a professional demeanor, all while striving to provide an exceptional customer experience. 🎥 💡 This program wasn't just about completing tasks; it was a journey that fostered creativity, quick thinking, and adaptability. It's a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of financial markets. I am constantly learning new things and working with a diverse group of people, from traders to custodians to management teams. It's a fast-paced environment that keeps me on my toes and allows me to contribute to the success of my firm. One of the most exciting aspects of my job is the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and data analytics tools. I'm able to analyze trade data, identify trends, and provide insights to our trading team.
