Writing this article reminds me of the learning journey in Seattle University Redhawk Fund No matter how many times I analyzed and estimated corporate valuation through the Excel sheet, I always felt that we should never rely on the trading/earning multiple to get the straight answer. Macy's buyout proposal makes me realize an iconic retail brand could leverage their real estate assets to maintain business value.
