New Year, New You in 2024 Well here we are I am engaging with a lot of people already Main theme "I'm looking at a job change this year" Now that is not a bad thing When engaging with a recruiter to assist you, I have a few ideas 1. Have a good understanding of why you have decided to explore options Really look deeply into this. It is an important area of understanding for a recruiter 2. Review your background when it comes to what experience, knowledge, attributes and skills you would bring to an organisation 3. Have some good examples of you utilising your capabilities to achieve outcomes. 4. Develop some clarity on the type of roles that you are seeking Have the ability to articulate why you are looking for these types of positions This is all information that will contribute greatly when engaging with a recruiter The better a recruiter understands your motivations, capabilities and requirements the better they can do their job The better they can do their job the better the outcome will be for you Also look for a recruiter who is interested in building a long term relationship Someone who values you and is listening to your needs Try and find someone you can connect with as well It will make the journey more productive Hope that helps and good luck in 2024 #rethinkrecruitment2024 #recruitment2024
