Wearables for cows?   Health and fitness trackers have been around for years and while the tech is always getting better and more accurate there hasn't been huge strides in this space for a while.   But now researchers are developing wearables for cows which run on kinetic energy - meaning they recharge as the cows move. Not only does this have useful applications in farming but human implications too - imagine what self-charging wearables could do for athletes and in healthcare!   These devices could be used to track performance and rehabilitation from injury, and also offers scope for medical monitoring devices which don't need to be constantly recharged.   As a runner I'd love to not have to charge my Apple watch every night!   What do you think, will we see kinetically charged wearables hitting the mainstream in the future? https://lnkd.in/gzy49TCa #medical #energy #future #tech

This would be amazing, I'm the same as you - hate having to charge mine!
