It’s National Vehicle Theft Prevention Month—which is important to recognize when you consider that, according to the NHTSA, there were more than 1 million vehicle thefts reported in 2023 and vehicle thefts increased by 1% from 2022 to 2023. Remind your personnel to always take precautions when parking, exiting and leaving personal and emergency vehicles, including keeping the keys with them, closing and locking windows and doors, parking in well-lit areas and keeping valuables out of sight.
