CSIRO is unveiling Australia's next wave of ON Accelerate innovators, focusing on: 🌍 Addressing global health challenges ♻️ Championing sustainability through circularity 🏭 Advancing advanced manufacturing ON Accelerate is truly launching research-driven ventures into the market! Also, I had an enriching session at the University of Melbourne with fellow #IBMers , discussing some ongoing projects and innovations 🎓 Had to take a Friday off to visit the clinic due to a bad flu 🤒 Big difference jumping from hot humid country to cold season... Last week was an incredible journey of learning and growth at IESE Business School EMBA New York module, guided by exceptional professors Jan Simon in Financial Markets and Desiree Pacheco in Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship. It was inspiring to collaborate with classmates from Madrid, Barcelona, Munich, and Sao Paulo campuses, making this experience truly global and enriching. We also engaged in expert panels on investment banking and the entrepreneurial landscape of New York. A definite highlight was our visit to Newlab, a deep-tech startup accelerator, which showcased the vibrant innovation ecosystem in action. Here are some key insights from our sessions: 1. Crafting an investment model portfolio tailored to different life stages is fundamental and surprisingly straightforward. 2. Corporate innovation is pivotal, especially for established enterprises. There are diverse approaches that can align with your corporate strategy. 3. Small, budget-friendly shifts in organizational culture can spark innovation from within. Happy to announce that the Glasgow City of Science and Innovation led consultations with 120 innovation leaders directly influenced Glasgow City Region’s new Innovation Action Plan launched at our Innovation Summit earlier this week Glasgow City Region The Action Plan covers six major themes: an Inclusive Economy, Skills, Ecosystem, Identity, Investment and Infrastructure.
