🌟 Reflections on My Inaugural Experience at the SilverEco Festival in Cannes 🌟 I was attending the SilverEco.org Festival held at the iconic Palais des Congrès in Cannes, France for the first time yesterday. The experience was nothing short of enlightening, and it offered a wealth of knowledge and insights that I am eager to share with you all. 🔴 The Red Carpet Experience Stepping onto that famed red carpet of the Palais des Congrès, I was immediately struck by the grandeur and importance of the occasion. If these stairs could talk, they would surely tell stories of groundbreaking revelations, monumental decisions, and, above all, the drive to innovate and evolve. 🎙️ Panel Discussions & Live Podcasts What stood out the most were the enriching panel discussions and live podcasts that I had the privilege of attending. The subject matter was riveting, traversing the landscape of modern aging, healthcare technologies, and the digital innovations that are shaping the future of elder care. As someone who is deeply vested in the integration of cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, IoT, and Digital Health into human-centric models, the dialogue at SilverEco was incredibly affirming. It resonated with my core belief that while we advance in technology, it is imperative to remain rooted in compassion and understanding for the human experience. 💡 Insights for the Future The festival served as a wonderful incubator for thought-provoking ideas and solutions aimed at creating a more equitable and humane ecosystem for our aging population. European Space Agency - ESA´s GSTP, together with the POLSA Polska Agencja Kosmiczna | Polish Space Agency, will be hosting, in a beautiful city of Sopot, a special edition of the Industry Working Days. That to celebrate 30 years of innovation! Inaugurated on 13 May 1993, the GSTP was originally an integral part of ESA’s long-term plan to make sure the Agency kept ahead of technologies it might need. GSTP aims to work with industry, academia and Participating States to predict what those technologies might be or if current innovative technologies used on Earth can be adapted for use in Space! The event will focus on a few key areas:  Robotics – Power – Manufacturing - Space Safety, and will conclude each day with the annual Space R&D Showcase where some of GSTP’s most interesting technology achievements will be presented. The GSTP Industry Days are open to industry, academia and SME's who would like to share in these discussions, which will focus specifically on space technologies in these fields. Innovative companies from Poland and Norway e.g Integrated Detector Electronics AS will be in Sopot celebrating 30 years of innovation and technology. A quick summary after 3 days at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona: 1. It is really energizing to be here with so many colleagues, exhibitions, and interesting thought-leaders 2. Connectivity clearly plays an important role for societies, businesses and individuals – in the past and in the future 3. Technology innovation is happening at an unprecedented speed, providing lots of opportunities (and challenges) for telco & tech players (plus I do believe many other industries can learn from it) Beyond the tech buzz, the energy and joy in every conversation, and all the business prospects – I do hope senior executives also consider materiality of the value pockets, reflect on what role their company (realistically) can play, and how to invest for attractive returns. Shaping your portfolio and investments along different time horizons and ensuring you seek to accelerate and defend core (vs venturing) are two good conversations to have as a start.
