It’s been a year since the sad passing of our friend and colleague Gavin Young. Our thoughts go out today to his family and close friends. But it’s not just today we think of Gavin. We set ourselves the challenge of climbing 100 hills in Gavin’s honour to celebrate his love for hill walking. We think of him with every walk, every climb, every moment spent soaking in the view and every moment of quiet thought and contemplation. We talk often of Gavin and the importance of taking time for ourselves and our own mental health and for reaching out to others to help them with theirs. Whatever you’re going through, the Samaritans will face it with you. Rest in peace Gavin. #Samaritans
Thinking of eveyone who had the pleasure of knowing Gavin
I had the pleasure of working with Gavin briefly shortly before his passing. Great guy. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
Thinking of all Gavin's friends & family today - I have found everyone's hill walking photos throughout the year a lovely way to keep him in our memories. Rest in peace Gavin.
