To mark #ReservesDay 4C Associates hosted Major Rudy Vandaele-Kennedy and Colour Sergeant Frank Filmer from our local Reserve unit, 17 Company, London Guards yesterday. They led a fascinating Q&A raising awareness of the work the Reserves do and discussing: ⚖ how to balance serving as a Reservist alongside a civilian career 👑 their role from Ceremonial at the King’s Birthday to participating in a 3-month tour of the Falkland Islands 👩🔧 how soldiers from 17 Company range from accountants and Civil Servants to builders and plumbers, creating a unique network in civilian life 💪 the opportunity to build new and unique skills, experience adventure, build resilience and being part of one amazing team. We are looking forward to running more events with 17 Company and fostering a long term partnership to support this local military community. 4C is a Forces Friendly Employer and hold the Silver ERS award. Contact Vikki d'Arcy or Suzanna Hinnell to find out more. #SaluteOurForces #armedforces #veterans #reservists #militaryspouses #bcorp #forcesfriendlyemployer #cadetforces

Absolutely loved hosting this and definitely some nostalgia experienced when touring Princess Louise House and meeting some of the soldiers after the talk. Thanks again Rudy Vandaele-Kennedy

Thanks to you both for coming, sharing your experiences and giving us a great insight into the Reservists. I hope 17 Company enjoyed all that cake!

It was a really interesting session. Thank you for arranging this and to Major Rudy Vandaele-Kennedy and Colour Sergeant Frank Filmer for giving their time and insights.

Didn't expect my day in the office to turn into an impromptu tour of 17 company- Thank you again to Rudy & Frank for an entertaining and insightful session - well done for organising Vikki d'Arcy!
