Human Trafficking is a Global Health Crisis that we all need to be aware of. We Run Oakland: For Children was formed because of the high incidence of trafficking in the city of Oakland and Alameda County. However, this issue is not unique to Oakland - the perils of trafficking impact many communities in CA and the United States. No matter what country, state, county, or city you live in, we should all share the humanitarian goal of protecting one another, especially the most vulnerable. To that end, we welcome you to have an Oakland mentality in this anti-trafficking movement. Build community power through awareness, conversation, advocacy, and action.
