📖 It's Friday Story Time 📖 It's not often you can say that you are the best in the WORLD at something. 🌍 I can't say that I am officially the "best", but I do know that I am the 5th best in the world at something and so was my team. Back in 2012, I worked for Robert Half in the Accountemps division with an amazing team - Dan Rymas, John Kofka, and Claude Gulino Jr. I worked as the designated Recruiter on the team, while the rest of my team focused on sales and filling jobs. We quickly gelled, built great camaraderie, and began to kick ass. We quickly climbed up the worldwide rankings list for Robert Half (350 offices - at the time). Week after week we jumped higher and higher up the list. Our success was contagious to all of us. We cared about each other and we cared about the success of the team as a whole. We fought. We pushed each other. We built each other up. We were a true team. Before we knew it, we were in another stratosphere, ranking within the top-ten world wide rankings, out of 350 offices. This was HUGE for a small office like Princeton, NJ. This small little team of 4 guys beating out major cities across the country and across the world. We kept pushing, kept grinding, and kept climbing. Then we hit number 5! Number 5 in the world out of 350 offices! That's how I knew at one point in time, I was the number 5 BEST Recruiter in the world for Robert Half. Moral of the story. Build great teams. Work hard. Have fun. Find success and be proud of your success. Brag about your success. Let it fuel your fire to want more. To earn more. To achieve more. Find those team members who are going to keep up with your pace and sprint with you. Being successful is contagious, surround yourself with others who want that success and more. All good things have to come to an end.
