I have worked in a supermarket for many years I have been swore at, had things thrown at me and have been followed home late at night. The government should take action bring in stronger laws to protect retail staff
Agree 100%, we are told not to approach shoplifters so staff have to do it instead. I followed a shoplifter out of Tesco last year and retrieved a tv, the next day my manager ??? "dick" visited the store and told me not to do this again, now its left to Tesco staff to do this. Well done Ken for highlighting this. Packed my bags since,
