Using Trapcode Particular

- The built-in particle system, while it works, does take a bit of tweaking and experimentation. There is a great third party particle system from Trapcode that's a bit easier to use, called Particular. Let me show you how it works. Now let's take this existing adjustment layer and turn it off. Let's add a new layer, and choose Solid, and we'll make it the comp size, and just fill it with black. This'll make it a bit easier to see. Now, I'll apply the third party filter from Trapcode, called Particular. This filter is pretty easy to use and you'll see a lot of options. What we're going to do is start to adjust things here. So for the Emitter, I want to create a box. This allows me to adjust what's going to happen. Let's go ahead and turn off the other layers for a moment, so we just see the actual Emitter. In this case, we've built a box to emit, and what I want to do is adjust where it's coming from. So we'll set that…
